Drawing inspiration from Japanese tea culture, this new addition to Queen Street’s Strand Arcade offers a coffee experience designed to evoke relaxation and healing—echoing the mindful ritual of drinking tea. The space invites youto engage all five senses, immersing themselves in the taste, texture, aroma, sound, and visual elements that define the café’s unique atmosphere.

Artistry is woven into every detail, from the experiential design to the handcrafted ceramics. The cups, created by Leach Studio, are inspired by a Japanese koi pond: their deep, wide shape reflects the pond’s stillness, while the dark, textured surface mirrors the rugged Seiryu stones that surround it.

Our recommendation: Eight months in the making, their Midnight Blend Matcha brings together three ceremonial‑grade matcha varieties from different farms, balanced with the ideal mix of sweetness, bitterness and deep umami.
