Moana Festival

The Moana Festival is back and making waves against the backdrop of Auckland’s spectacular Hauraki Gulf! Moana Auckland, New Zealand's Ocean Festival will bring together on- and off-water events that showcase New Zealand's love affair with the ocean.

With tons of events happening over the course of the festival, like a seafood festival and Auckland Boat Show, this year's programme is already bursting with excitement and activity, before the full lineup has even been released! 

Z Manu World Championships

28 FEB - 14 MAR, 2026 | Karanga Plaza, Waterfront

Z Manu World Champs takes over the waterfront with a purpose-built jump tower to find 40 finalists across the two qualifying weekends. Expect big bombs, big energy, and big crowds as the hunt for the next Z Manu World Champ begins!

There are Push Play sessions each day so anyone can give it a go – whether it’s your first Manu or your fiftieth.

Ngā Huhua: Abundance

Dive into a deep blue world teeming with life in Ngā Huhua: Abundance, an immersive exhibition celebrating the life force of Te Moana-nui-a-Toi, the outer Hauraki Gulf Marine Park, just beyond Auckland’s shores. Meet the surprising and spectacular creatures that call this place home, from tohorā (whales) to honu (turtles), and explore how this ecosystem now faces new threats.

This new exhibition - perfect for ocean-lovers big and small - reveals how both the giants and the smallest creatures play vital roles in maintaining the balance of this thriving marine world.
