After much anticipation, Auckland’s newest authentic Italian restaurant and bar Bossi is officially open.
Inspired by owner Jenna Carter’s rich Italian heritage and helmed by esteemed Executive Chef Shaun Dowling, Bossi promises to transport diners to the heart of Italia – serving up contemporary Italian dishes using fresh and locally sourced ingredients alongside a premium wine list.
Bringing the best of Italia to Aotearoa, Bossi is an authentic and immersive new dining experience located within The Pacifica building in downtown Auckland. The new flagship restaurant & bar opened in December 2022 and offers traditional cuisine in sophisticated modern surroundings imbued with stylish Italian design for discerning diners.

Bossi Truffle Season
With winter just over a week away and the colder mornings well and truly here, the return of truffle season is here.
Bossi is among the first restaurants in Auckland to receive fresh black truffle this winter, sourced directly from a truffière in Riwaka. From June 1st, diners will be able to add freshly shaved truffle to absolutely anything on Bossi’s menu for $15 per gram.
Whether it’s layered over the Pappardelle Ragu, Carbonara, or (if you’re feeling adventurous) even their famous Tiramisu.
